Linda Rummell

Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms, Georgia, 2016

Linda Rummell became a full-time teacher after a career as a media writer and a reporter in Birmingham, Alabama. She currently teaches English and a STEM app creator class to 7th-grade students. She was part of her school district’s first Teacher Leader cohort, and she is an alumna of the 2016 Fulbright Teachers For Global Classrooms program. She has presented at the Department of State Global Teaching Dialogue as well as several conferences on the importance of global education in every classroom. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in communications and journalism from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her master’s degree in education from Samford University. In her spare time, she enjoys astronomy, writing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three sons.
