Kehan DeSousa

Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program, Slovakia, 2009-2010

Kehan DeSousa is a sustainability specialist with the Office of Sustainability at George Washington University (GW). In this role, she develops the sustainability and climate resilience strategy for the institution, manages sustainability implementation across the university, and consults on sustainability research. Prior to her time at GW, she served as a Green Fellow with the Urban Sustainability Administration at the DC Department of Energy and the Environment, where she worked on the climate, green building, and energy sections of Washington DC’s sustainability master plan known as Sustainable DC 2.0.

Kehan is an alumna of the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program in Nitra, Slovakia where she taught English to students at Univerzita Konstantina Filozofa. Kehan has a bachelor’s degree in English and politics from Oberlin College and a master’s degree in international economics and energy, resources, and the environment from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Affairs where she focused on climate change policy.
